Athletic greens (or now also called AG1) are EASILY one of my favorite things that I do for myself on the daily.
I have said it before and I will say it again till I am green in the face…. See what I did there?
So why is it my favorite?
You know the feeling you get when you just know deep in your core that you are doing something good for yourself and your body?
That’s how I felt immediately after drinking Athletic Greens for the first time.
I know that sounds crazy, but I actually have heard this same story time and time again from friends and family when they try it.
I had seen a lot of people on the gram drinking it but it wasn’t until a few of my very trusted friends recommended it earlier in the year that I finally gave it a whirl.
Before I tell you more, let me first start off by saying I don’t actually work with this brand. I do have a code to get ya some free goodies in your first order but that’s all. I just LOVE it so much and it has made such a positive impact on how I feel.
I literally never miss a day. Even if I’m not home. I just pack their travel packets and I am ready to rock.
I could tell you all the scientific facts about why this stuff is amazing, but let’s be honest, that’s not really my jam. I love that AG1 has 75 vitamins and minerals that are sourced from whole foods, plus probiotics and digestive enzymes to help your body absorb.
I also love that it has NO: wheat, dairy, gluten, corn, lactose, sucrose, dextrose, egg, yeast, peanuts, animal products, GMO’s, herbicides, pesticides, harmful chemicals, artificial colors, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, or added sugar.
But what I love most is just simply how it makes me feel. I have more energy, my hunger levels seem more consistent all day, my skin feels and looks better and I feel healthy knowing I got that big dose of vitamins and green goodness in my body.
I am sure it is super helpful for my skin and energy that you drink it with a huge glass of water upon waking. That alone is so beneficial.
It’s the first thing when I wake up as I am getting dressed for my workout. It is advised to drink it on an empty stomach and before any caffeine so that you get maximum vitamin absorption.
Personally, a lot of multivitamins on an empty stomach in the past have made me feel barfy (yes, that’s a technical term lol!) so I am really cautious of them . This however makes me feel amazing every time!
Trust me on this one yall. I have not had ONE person try it and not message me to tell me they loved it. And most after just after the first time they drink it.
Personally, I am not a coffee drinker but some even claim it has replaced their morning coffee or caffeine habit.
